Grid-Scale Battery Storage for Renewable Integration: A Techno-Economic Case Study
Abstract
Grid-scale battery storage is a critical enabler for high renewable-penetration grids. This paper presents a techno-economic case study of a 200 MWh lithium-ion storage installation supporting wind and solar integration, covering dispatch strategy, degradation modelling, and levelised cost of storage under three regulatory scenarios.
